In our Winter 2022 newsletter we had sad news, an exciting announcement and articles by Jenny Shelton on the RSPB Birdcrime Report 2021 and by Paul Samuels on his experience of filming a winter roost at Insh Marshes. First the sad news: Ian Cooper had decided to leave Hen Harrier Action and one of our satellite-tagged birds, Iris, had died. The announcement was the launch of a filmmaking competition for under 18s.
